As sad as it is to admit, fall is upon us. I hope you had (and continue to have) a beautiful summer! This is a much delayed blog post because when I wasn't teaching goat yoga or with my private yoga clients, I was spending a lot of time gardening, resting, and soaking in the gorgeous weather.
I want to thank everyone who came out to goat yoga at Aurora Farm and 10 Acre Woods. It was a lot of fun meeting you and adding another level of awesome to my summer! And thank you so much again to 10 Acre Woods for making Kayfabe Yoga's 2nd birthday/anniversary extra special by bringing in baby goat Sheldon and Fernando the turkey to the karma yoga class in the park.
I'm back at Red River College this fall with more yoga classes! I'll be at the Notre Dame and Princess campuses. Reminder: these classes are open to the community! You do not have to be a RRC student or staff member to attend. Schedule is:
Thursdays from 12:05 - 12:50 at Notre Dame - South Gym beginning September 20th through to December 6th. This class will be a combination of traditional hatha poses, Physiologic yoga, and functional movement to blend strength and stretch. The main focus of this class is on how you feel and less on how the poses look.
Thursdays from 4:15 - 5:15 at Princess - P107 beginning September 20th through to November 22nd. This class will help to reduce physical tension accumulated during the day. Classes will focus on deep tissue stretching (yin), strengthening (hatha and functional movement), and relaxing.
I will also be teaching classes at the Notre Dame campus from 4:15 - 5:15 on November 5, 19, and 26.
As with all my classes, no yoga experience is required and modifications are always offered/encouraged.
